A1: As a general rule, should two or more Constituent Units express their interest, the agreement will be facilitated and implemented at the System-level. However, if the agreement is specific to a particular CU, the agreement will be facilitated and implemented at the CU-level.
Q2: Are there any additional requirements to be submitted should the execution copy of the agreement be made in another language other than English?
A2: Should the agreement also be executed in any Asian or European Language, a certificate of faithfulness of translation must be requested from the UP Diliman Department of European Languages or Department of Linguistics as an additional attachment.
Q3: How does the UP OIL process agreements containing provisions on Intellectual Property Rights?
A3: Upon recommendation of OVPLA, agreements containing provisions on Intellectual Property Rights and other related provisions will be forwarded to the Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (TTBDO) for review.
