Mobility For Vigor And Excellence – University Of The Philippines (MOVE-UP) Program

The Mobility for Vigor and Excellence – University of the Philippines (MOVE-UP) Program aims to provide undergraduate students with opportunities to take courses, conduct thesis work, and attend degree-related training at international higher education institutions, especially holders of bilateral and academic network partnerships with UP.

Apart from the outbound mobility, the program also offers financial assistance to qualified UP undergraduate students depending on their Grant-in-Aid Learning Assistance Needs (LAN) Bracket, destination, and length of mobility.

To be eligible for the program, the applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Enrolled as a Sophomore in UP at the time of application
  • Must show strong motivation and interest to experience higher education and cultural diversity
  • Cumulative GWA of 2.20 and above
  • Endorsed by the faculty in charge of outbound exchange and the Director/Chair

Financial Assistance

The entitlements and the corresponding amount to be awarded to successful MOVE-UP Financial Assistance applications is based on the Grant-in-Aid Learning Assistance Needs (LAN) Bracket of the applicants, location of host university, and the duration of the mobility.

MOVE-UP also offers financial assistance to support the virtual exchange mobility of UP students who will be attending virtual courses, internships, or a degree-related training under MOVE-UP+ Scholarship Grant. Successful applicants will be provided with a scholarship stipend that will cover their program participation and cultural immersion fees, internet load support and gadget subsidy.
